Feedback Requested on Draft Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Advisory Council is requesting feedback on proposed amendments to the OHS Act General Regulations and OHS Act Fall Protection Regulations. The purpose of the amendments is to harmonize regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, update references to standards and provide consistent terminology.
The consultation summary and draft regulations have been posted on the Legislative Feedback page of the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) website, www.wcb.pe.ca/Information/LegislativeReview under the heading, Draft Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations and Fall Protection Regulations. The Council encourages stakeholders to provide feedback on the proposed changes by January 17, 2021, using the online feedback form.

If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Groome Wynne, WCB Senior Policy and Planning Coordinator, at blgwynne@wcb.pe.ca or 902-368-5562.
