Funding Available for Anti-Racism Grants 2025-2026
Applications are now open for the 2025-2026 Anti-Racism Grants, with a total of $275,000 in funding available.
The grant program supports projects that advance anti-racism efforts and benefit racialized and Indigenous communities across Prince Edward Island.
Eligible projects must:
- Promote anti-racism education and awareness, or
- Foster community support and capacity-building, or
- Improve organizational governance addressing racism
Examples of eligible activities include:
- Delivering seminars, workshops, training, or mentorship programs
- Promoting social inclusion and reducing barriers in sport, arts and culture
- Developing and maintaining historical resources highlighting systemic racism in Prince Edward Island
- Supporting youth-focused initiatives that strengthen relationships with the criminal justice system
- Creating anti-racism policies, strategies, and evaluation tools
Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on October 17, 2025.
